The Magene L508 Radar Tail Light combines a powerful rear light with rear-approach radar technology, giving riders an extra set of eyes on the road. Using millimetre-wave radar, it can detect vehicles approaching from behind from up to 140 metres away, with a wide 40° detection angle that helps maintain coverage through curves and bends. It can track up to eight approaching vehicles simultaneously, sending visual and audible alerts to a compatible cycling computer.

More than just radar, the L508 features a 220° viewing angle and seven different light modes for everything from busy roads and commuting to group rides and long days in the saddle. Smart features include automatic brake-light activation under deceleration and vehicle-triggered flashing to increase your visibility as traffic approaches.

With ANT+ and Bluetooth connectivity, the L508 works with cycling computers that support the standard ANT+ Radar profile, including compatible Garmin Edge, Wahoo, Bryton and Magene devices. Battery life extends up to 19 hours in radar-only mode, while USB-C charging, auto-sleep/wake functionality and an IPX7 waterproof rating make it ready for everyday riding.

7 Light Modes & Easy Combination

After updating the new firmware, L508 adds 2 new light modes--quickly flash mode, and rotation mode. Now, L508 supports a total of 7 different light modes: flashing, pulse, peloton, quickly flash, rotation and single radar mode. Riders can set different light modes in different scenes according to their needs, and also can quickly switch light modes with a simple click.

Peloton Mode

With low brightness and soft light, it protects eyes of group bikers, providing a more comfortable experience in team riding.

Custom Flashing & Pulse Internal

After connecting to Magene Utility APP, you can customize the brightness of each light mode, as well as the interval period of flash mode and pulse mode.

You can also turn off some unwanted light mode, so it will be deactivated at tail light.

Warning Approaching Vehicles

If there's rear vehicle approaching, the warning light will flash for 5 times. When vehicles approach successively, the warning light remains flashing. It warns the rear vehicle keeping a safe distance from you and protects you from safety risks. *You can turn off warning light to stop it flashing when vehicles approach successively. But it still flashes when it detects rear vehicle approaching for the first time out of safety concern.

Smart Brake Light

The tail light is equipped with a built-in high-precision acceleration sensor, to quickly detect and enter 3 seconds highlight mode even with slight braking, while ignoring shaking and small bumps to prevent false starts.

Magene Utility APP supports radar display. After connecting your tail light with software, you can view approaching vehicles at a glance.

The tail light can be connected to bike computers, watches, or other display devices that can support the standard radar protocol, such as Magene C406 Pro smart bike computer, partial Garmin, Wahoo, Bryton bike computers and partial Garmin fitness watches, etc.
